Test results

If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.

Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:

• in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
• in your online service account
• phone or visit us between after 2pm and we will tell you what the results are

Questions about your results

If you want to talk to someone about your results, fill out our test results request form and someone will be in touch.

Our receptionists will give the results as advised by the doctors. An appointment will only be required in certain circumstances, and you will be advised of this when you call for your results. 

If your hospital doctor requests a test for you please chase the result directly from the consultant’s secretary. We will be unable to view and discuss these results with you.

Whilst we will do our best to communicate an abnormal investigation, it is the patients responsibility to chase their results.
